MOSCHE CHE HANNO FATTO STORIA, LA SERIE GALLICA

Mette soggezione il solo sentir nominare questa famosa serie di mosche artificiali francesi, tanto è conosciuta e mitizzata nel mondo della pesca a mosca. Il tutto è nato dello stretto rapporto di amicizia fra Leoncè Vallette detto De Boisset, Georges Massia e Gérard De Chamberet. Pur essendo tre persone incontratesi per caso e con professionalità diverse, le loro assidue frequentazioni, finalizzate a vivere insieme la comune passione per la natura e per la pesca a mosca, li portò ad ideare e produrre un insieme di mosche artificiali passate poi alla storia per la loro bellezza ed efficacia. Seppure la serie sia costituita da 37 artificiali (35 imitazioni di efemerotteri e 2 di tricotteri), frutto di un approfondito studio e catalogazione dei macroinvertebrati durato alcuni anni, è comunque da considerarsi un lavoro di sintesi, sia nel complesso che nei singoli artificiali. Occorre evidenziare che, mentre gli artificiali di origine anglosassone seguivano un concetto di logica analitica nell’imitare il naturale, questi esemplari francesi esprimono un concetto di sintesi, poggiando le loro basi sul presupposto di imitare il più fedelmente possibile una data specie di effimera e poi utilizzare quell’artificiale in tutti quei casi in cui il pesce prende insetti analoghi per taglia, volume e colore. A riprova di quanto detto è da notare che, per imitare il naturale dell’intero ordine dei tricotteri, sono presenti soltanto due artificiali, uno con tonalità chiara ed una scura. Altra cosa da porre in risalto è il fatto che sono nel complesso artificiali dedicati esclusivamente alle acque piatte o debolmente mosse (tipiche dei fiumi francesi) e per questo sarebbe un errore utilizzarli nei nostri torrenti, tranne forse le due imitazioni dedicate ai tricotteri. In ogni caso sono pur sempre artificiali molto eleganti e sofisticati, dai cromatismi e riflessi unici, che rapiscono ad ogni minimo riverbero facendo provare sensazioni d’altri tempi; forse è stato questo che ha spinto Fausto Basile a dedicargli tanto tempo per trovare ed assemblare i materiali occorrenti per collezionarne tutti gli esemplari.
